據悉，「不成熟卵子體外培養」比一般體外受孕成功機會高，每月只能做一次，費用每次約7萬港元，40歲高齡的李嘉欣連續做了三次才成功，共花了約20萬港元。加上接受體外受孕期間的住院費、醫生費、藥費等，估計李嘉欣人工「造」BB花了約50萬港元。
未成熟卵子體外培養，與一般體外受孕的分別是，是母親無需使用排卵藥，只要在母體抽取卵子放到特殊的營養液中培養，成為成熟卵子再進行受精培養成胚胎後，然後植入母體。

admitted that was a "bleak" time.
"I was so uncomfortable," she said. "I'm kind of proud of myself. I
really am -- sorry, pregnant with twins is different than anything!
[People] were always saying to me, 'Oh, but it's all worth it!' Yeah,
but it's easy to say when you're not the one whose feet are this big! It
turned into like a really difficult time."

"In the beginning [of my pregnancy] I was thinking, I'm going to wear really loose things, because you don't really look pregnant at first -- you just feel a little bigger than your normal self," Duff, 24, explained to Us Weekly. "And now that you start to show I think it's better to wear tighter things, but it's kind of a challenge to find things!"
